Are images included?

Currently, images are not extracted. Only text content is converted to the Word document.

What types of PDFs work best?

Text-based PDFs with simple layouts work best. Scanned PDFs (images) or PDFs with complex multi-column layouts may not convert well.

Does this work on scanned or image-only PDFs?

No. This converter reads the embedded text layer of a PDF and does not perform OCR. Scanned documents, photos, or image-only PDFs contain no extractable text, so use an OCR tool first to make the text selectable, then convert here.

How are multi-column layouts and tables handled?

Text is extracted in the reading order reported by the PDF, so multi-column pages and tables are flattened into plain paragraphs rather than rebuilt as Word columns or table grids. For pixel-perfect tables, use desktop software; this tool focuses on fast, editable text extraction.

Can I choose A4 or US Letter page size?

Yes. Use the Page Size dropdown to export A4 (210 × 297 mm) or US Letter (8.5 × 11 in). The generated DOCX includes proper section properties with standard 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins, so it opens cleanly in Word or LibreOffice without repair prompts and is ready to print or edit.

Can I edit the Word document?

Yes! The DOCX file can be opened and edited in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice, or any word processor that supports DOCX format.

What is the file size limit?

The maximum PDF file size is 50MB.

Is my PDF file safe?

Absolutely! All conversion happens in your browser. Your file is never uploaded to any server.
