How do I fill out a PDF form online?

Drop your PDF into the tool. It automatically lists every fillable field with the right input type — text boxes, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns and multi-select lists. Type or pick your answers, click Fill PDF, then preview and download the completed file.

Is it safe to fill sensitive forms here?

Yes. The whole process runs inside your browser using JavaScript — the PDF never leaves your device and nothing is uploaded to any server. That makes the tool suitable for contracts, job applications, medical, tax and government forms.

What does "Flatten form after filling" do?

Flattening converts the interactive fields into regular page content. The values you entered become a permanent part of the document and can no longer be changed, and the file displays identically in every PDF viewer. Use it for final copies you are about to send; leave it off if the recipient should be able to edit the answers.

Why does it say my PDF has no fillable fields?

Many PDFs are just scans or flat documents without an interactive form layer (AcroForm). This tool can only fill real form fields. For flat documents, use the Annotate PDF tool to type text anywhere on the page, or an OCR tool if the document is a scan.

Which field types are supported?

Text fields (single and multi-line, with length limits respected), checkboxes, radio button groups, dropdown menus and list boxes including multi-select. Digital signature fields are detected but cannot be signed — use the Sign PDF tool for that.

Why do some characters fail to save?

Each form field uses the font embedded by the form's author. If that font cannot encode a character you typed (for example accented letters in a form built with a basic Latin font), that field is skipped and reported. Try removing the special characters, or flatten-free filling in a desktop editor.

Can I fill a form and sign it too?

Fill your form here first and download the result, then open it in the Sign PDF tool to draw, type or upload your signature. Both tools run entirely in your browser.

Is there a file size limit?

Files up to 50MB are supported, which covers virtually all real-world forms. Because processing happens locally, very large files simply take a little longer on slower devices.
