No. Because conversion is done with the browser canvas, EXIF data such as GPS location, camera model, date taken, and orientation tags is not carried over to the JPG, PNG, or WebP output, and the image is rendered into the standard sRGB color space. This actually helps privacy when sharing photos, but if you need to keep original EXIF metadata for archiving, keep a copy of the source HEIC file.

How does it handle iPhone Live Photos?

A Live Photo is a HEIC still image paired with a short video. This tool converts the still HEIC frame to your chosen format; the motion video component is not part of the HEIC image and is not included in the output.
