Delete PDF Pages
Delete or keep PDF pages privately in your browser, no upload. Use range/comma syntax (1-3, 5), or odd/even quick-select to extract or strip pages.
About Delete PDF Pages
This tool removes unwanted pages from PDF files. You can specify which pages to delete using page numbers or ranges. The resulting PDF will contain only the pages you want to keep. All processing happens in your browser for complete privacy.
How do I specify which pages to delete?
Use commas to separate pages and hyphens for ranges. For example: 1-3, 5, 7-10 will delete pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10. You can also use single numbers like 1,2,3,5.
What is the file size limit?
The maximum file size is 50MB. This ensures smooth performance in your browser. For larger files, consider using desktop PDF software.
Can I preview the result before downloading?
Yes! After deleting pages, you can preview the final PDF with the remaining pages before downloading. You can also use fullscreen mode for better viewing.
What happens to page numbers?
After deletion, the remaining pages will be renumbered sequentially starting from page 1. For example, if you delete pages 2-3 from a 5-page PDF, the new PDF will have 3 pages (previously pages 1, 4, and 5).
Can I undo the deletion?
The original PDF file is not modified. You can always re-upload and try different page selections. The tool creates a new PDF with the specified pages removed.

Are bookmarks and links preserved?
Basic PDF content is preserved in the remaining pages. However, bookmarks, links, or annotations pointing to deleted pages may not work correctly in the final PDF, and internal links are renumbered with the surviving pages.
Does deleting pages invalidate a digital signature?
Yes. A digital signature certifies the exact bytes of the original document, so removing any page rebuilds the file and breaks the signature. For signed legal or finance PDFs, delete pages first and then re-sign, or keep an unsigned working copy for editing.
Is image and text quality preserved?
Yes. The tool copies the kept pages as-is, with no re-compression or rasterizing, so images, fonts and vector text keep their original quality. Only the deleted pages are dropped; nothing else is re-encoded.
What is the difference between Delete and Keep modes?
Delete mode removes the pages you list and keeps the rest. Keep mode does the inverse: it keeps only the pages you list and deletes everything else, so you can extract pages 4-9 from a 200-page brief without typing the long inverse range. The Odd, Even and All quick-select buttons fill the list instantly, ideal for stripping blank backs from duplex scans.
Is my PDF file safe?
Absolutely! All page deletion happens directly in your browser. Your PDF file is never uploaded to any server. Everything stays private on your device.
Can I delete password-protected PDFs?
Currently, this tool does not support password-protected or encrypted PDF files. Please remove the password protection before deleting pages.
