What is Truth or Dare?
Truth or Dare is the classic party game that has been a sleepover staple since at least the 17th century — early versions appear in Joseph Strutt's 1801 catalog of British games. On each turn, a player chooses either Truth (answer a personal question honestly) or Dare (perform a silly or daring task). Our online generator provides over 300 hand-curated prompts across three appropriateness tiers: Kid-Friendly (8+), Teen (13+), and Adult-Mild (PG-13). Spin the dice for a random choice or manually pick Truth or Dare to keep the game flowing. We deliberately exclude explicit, dangerous, embarrassing-to-minorities, or genuinely cruel content from all tiers — even our Adult-Mild prompts stay PG-13. The generator saves your difficulty preference and completion count locally; no accounts, no servers, no awkward content surprises.
