What is the Birthday Countdown?

The Birthday Countdown shows a live timer ticking down to 00:00 (midnight) of the next birthday — days, hours, minutes and seconds. The moment the clock hits zero, the screen lights up with the celebration effect you picked: fireworks, confetti or balloons. Add a name, your own message and even a photo to make it personal, then share the link with friends or put it on the big screen in fullscreen mode.

How to use

1. Pick the birthday date (day and month; add the birth year if you want the age shown).
2. Optionally add a name, a custom message and a photo for the celebration screen.
3. Choose the effect — fireworks, confetti, balloons or all at once — and press Preview to see it.
4. Press Start to launch the live countdown; use Fullscreen for a big display.
5. Copy the share link so friends see the same countdown, or export a yearly calendar reminder.

What happens when the countdown reaches zero?

At exactly 00:00 on the birthday, the celebration screen opens automatically with the effect you selected — fireworks, confetti, balloons or all three — together with your message, the name, the new age and the photo if you added one.

Can I share my countdown with friends?

Yes. The share link carries the date, name, message and chosen effect, so anyone opening it sees the same live countdown. The photo is intentionally not included: it never leaves your device.

What about birthdays on February 29?

In leap years the countdown targets February 29. In other years it targets February 28, which is the most common way to celebrate a leap-day birthday.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. The whole tool runs in your browser. The photo is only stored locally on your device so the celebration screen can display it, and it is never transmitted anywhere.

Which timezone does the countdown use?

The countdown uses your device's local clock, so the fireworks go off at midnight in your own timezone.
