TikTok Money Calculator
Calculate TikTok earnings with 2026 Creativity Program vs legacy Creator Fund toggle. Estimate sponsorships, RPM by niche & region, brand-deal value.
About the TikTok Money Calculator
This TikTok Money Calculator helps content creators estimate their potential earnings from the TikTok Creator Fund and brand sponsorships. Whether you're aspiring to join the Creator Fund or already monetizing your content, this tool provides realistic revenue projections based on views, followers, engagement rates, and content niche.
The calculator supports two calculation methods: views-based (for precise estimates using actual monthly view data) and follower-based (for projections based on audience size and engagement). It factors in account tier, content niche, regional differences, and industry benchmarks to provide accurate earning estimates. See also our YouTube Money Calculator and X Thread Maker.
How does TikTok pay creators?
TikTok pays creators through several revenue streams:
**Creativity Program (2026 default):**
The Creativity Program Beta has replaced the legacy Creator Fund in most major markets (US, UK, France, Germany, Brazil, Japan and more). It rewards original videos longer than 1 minute and pays roughly $0.40-$1.20 per 1,000 qualified views (RPM) — about 20-40x the old Creator Fund. Eligibility: 10K+ followers, 100K video views in the last 30 days, 18+, and an account in an eligible region.
**TikTok Creator Fund (legacy):**
The older program (still active in some regions) paid only $0.02-$0.04 per 1,000 views, with rates fluctuating daily based on:
• Video views and engagement
• Content authenticity and originality
• Audience location (US/UK views pay more)
• Compliance with community guidelines
**Brand Partnerships:**
Sponsorship deals are often more lucrative than the Creator Fund. Rates vary by follower count:
• Nano (1K-10K): $5-$25 per post
• Micro (10K-50K): $25-$125 per post
• Mid-tier (50K-500K): $125-$1,250 per post
• Macro (500K-1M): $1,250-$2,500 per post
• Mega (1M+): $2,500-$10,000+ per post
**Other Revenue Streams:**
• TikTok Shop (affiliate commissions)
• LIVE Gifts (virtual gifts converted to diamonds)
• Creator Marketplace (official brand connection platform)
• Tips (direct support from viewers)
What affects my TikTok earnings?
Several key factors determine your earning potential on TikTok:
**Follower Count & Engagement:**
More followers = higher sponsorship rates, but engagement rate matters more than raw follower count. Brands prefer 10K followers with 15% engagement over 100K with 2% engagement.
**Content Niche:**
• High-value niches (Finance, Tech, Beauty): 1.4-1.6x higher sponsorship rates
• Medium-value niches (Education, Fitness, Food): 1.1-1.3x rates
• General entertainment niches: baseline rates
**Audience Demographics:**
• US/UK audiences: 1.3-1.5x higher Creator Fund payments
• Purchasing power of your audience affects brand interest
• Age demographics (18-35 most valuable to brands)
**Video Performance:**
• Completion rate (watch full video = better)
• Shares and saves (highest engagement signals)
• Comments and likes
• Frequency and consistency of posting
**Account Authenticity:**
• Organic growth vs. purchased followers
• Original content vs. reposts
• Community guidelines compliance
Is the Creator Fund worth it?
It depends which program you are in. The legacy Creator Fund paid very little; the 2026 Creativity Program pays far more:
**Creativity Program (current):**
At $0.40-$1.20 per 1,000 views for videos over 1 minute, 1M monthly qualified views can earn roughly $400-$1,200/month — a major upgrade over the old fund. It is now the default monetization route in most major regions.
**Legacy Creator Fund — Pros:**
• Passive income from existing content
• No need to negotiate with brands
• Automatic monthly payments
• No minimum payout threshold issues
**Legacy Creator Fund — Cons:**
• Very low rates ($0.02-$0.04 per 1,000 views, i.e. $20-$40 per million views)
• Some creators report reduced reach after joining
• Rates fluctuate unpredictably
• Views from certain countries pay very little
**Verdict:**
If the Creativity Program is available to you, switch to it — the RPM is 20-40x higher. Either way, brand sponsorships usually still out-earn platform payouts: at 1M monthly views expect $400-$1,200/month from the Creativity Program (or just $20-$40 from the old fund) but potentially $500-$2,000+ from sponsorships.
Many successful creators suggest:
• Join the fund for passive income
• Focus growth efforts on sponsorships, products, and services
• Use TikTok to drive traffic to other platforms (YouTube, Instagram)
• Build an email list or community for direct monetization
How is this estimate calculated?
This calculator turns your inputs into earning ranges using transparent, industry-standard formulas — all outputs are estimate ranges, not guaranteed payouts.
**Platform earnings (Creativity Program or Creator Fund):**
We use an RPM (revenue per 1,000 views) model:
earnings = (views ÷ 1,000) × RPM
Default RPM ranges: Creativity Program $0.40-$1.20 per 1,000 views; legacy Creator Fund $0.02-$0.04. The RPM is then scaled by a region multiplier (US 1.5x, UK 1.3x, Europe 1.2x, Global 1.0x, Asia 0.7x, LatAm 0.6x) and, for the Creativity Program, a niche multiplier (Finance 1.6x, Tech 1.5x, Beauty 1.4x, Education 1.3x, Fitness 1.2x, Food 1.1x, General 1.0x, Comedy 0.9x, Dance 0.8x). Daily/weekly/monthly/yearly figures are derived from your monthly views.
**Sponsorship value:**
Per-post ranges come from your account tier — Nano (1K-10K) $5-$25, Micro (10K-50K) $25-$125, Mid (50K-500K) $125-$1,250, Macro (500K-1M) $1,250-$2,500, Mega (1M+) $2,500-$10,000 — then multiplied by your niche and region multipliers. Monthly sponsorship assumes 2-4 deals depending on audience size.
**Engagement rate** is shown as an estimated average (~5.5% of views) and marked 'est.' because real engagement varies per account. Use the CSV/JSON export to capture every assumption alongside the numbers for media kits and rate cards.

Which countries have the Creativity Program, and what are the requirements?
The Creativity Program Beta has rolled out in most major TikTok markets, replacing the legacy Creator Fund in countries including the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Japan and South Korea. Availability keeps expanding, so check the in-app monetization dashboard for your account's exact eligibility.
**Core requirements:**
• 10,000+ followers
• 100,000+ video views in the last 30 days
• 18 years or older
• An account based in an eligible region
• A clean record under Community Guidelines
**The key rule:** only original videos longer than 1 minute qualify for Creativity Program payouts. Sub-minute clips, duets/stitches and reposted content generally do not earn. In regions where the Creativity Program is not yet available, creators may still be on the legacy Creator Fund with its much lower $0.02-$0.04 per 1,000 views rate — switch this calculator's program toggle to match whichever applies to you.

Should I focus on TikTok or other platforms?
TikTok is excellent for growth but shouldn't be your only platform:
**TikTok Advantages:**
• Fastest organic reach and growth potential
• Algorithm favors new creators more than other platforms
• Short-form content is easier to produce consistently
• Viral potential with single videos
• Young, engaged audience (16-34 demographic)
**TikTok Limitations:**
• Lower direct monetization than YouTube
• Platform risk (algorithm changes, bans, regulation)
• Limited content ownership and portability
• Creator Fund rates declining as more join
• Less control over audience relationship
**Multi-Platform Strategy:**
**Use TikTok for:** Growth and awareness
• Build audience quickly with viral content
• Test content ideas at low production cost
• Drive traffic to owned platforms
**Use YouTube for:** Higher ad revenue
• Repurpose TikTok content into YouTube Shorts
• Create long-form content for 10-20x higher CPM
• Build sustainable AdSense income
**Use Instagram for:** Brand deals and lifestyle content
• Professional brand partnerships
• Stories for daily engagement
• Reels for algorithm reach
**Use Email/Community for:** Direct monetization
• Sell products/services directly
• No algorithm dependency
• Highest ROI for marketing
• Build real business, not just following
**Recommended Approach:**
Create content on TikTok → Repurpose to Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts → Drive engaged followers to email list or community → Monetize through products, services, or premium content. This gives you growth (TikTok), ad revenue (YouTube), brand deals (Instagram), and direct sales (email/community).
